| Description | This methodology sets out the project conditions and carbon accounting procedures for activities aimed at reducing unplanned anthropogenic deforestation and forest degradation. The deforestation typology covered by this methodology is of the mosaic type, as defined in the VCS guidance. This methodology explicitly lists the information that is required in a PD so that a third party verifier can validate all ex-ante calculations. In addition, it stipulates which information must be included in monitoring reports so that a VCS-accredited verifier can verify these and actual VCUs can be issued. |
