The Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard is currently in development. VCS is committed to following the ISEAL Code of Good Practice for Setting Social and Environmental Standards. We have set out SD VISta’s objectives, why it is needed, terms of reference for Standard Development Advisory Committee members and the standard-setting procedure that will be followed in its development in the SD VISta Terms of Reference.

July-December 2017: VCS and Standard Development Advisory Committee draft SD VISta
January-February 2018: First public consultation
March-May 2018 : VCS and Standard Development Advisory Committee revise SD VISta
June 2018: Second public consultation
July-October 2018: VCS and Standard Development Advisory Committee finalize SD VISta
November/December 2018: Launch SD VISta
